As part of Pag-IBIG Fund’s 39th Anniversary celebration last 14 December 2019, almost 16,000 employees, agency-hired contractors, job order workers, and allied services personnel along with their families gathered at the magical world of Enchanted Kingdom (EK) in Sta. Rosa, Laguna. Employees and their families enjoyed a day of free amusement rides and family-friendly activities, dance performances, and photo opportunities with the popular EK icons, Eldar and Princess Victoria. A fireworks display spectacle capped the night off and added to the excitement and happiness of the Pag-IBIG Fund family. This event was participated by Pag-IBIG Fund offices and branches from the Corporate Headquarters, NCR Home Lending Operations and Business Development Sectors, NCR Member Services Operations and Technical and Administrative Support, International Operations Group, Ilocos Norte TAS, Central Luzon II, and Southern Tagalog

1. CORPORATE WIDE FLU VACCINATION
Every year, one of the major accomplishments of Pag-IBIG Fund lead by the Human Resource Department Employee Relations and Wellness Services Division is the administration of flu immunization corporate-wide. We invited bidders to ensure that we will be able to procure the best quality of vaccine for our employees at the most reasonable prices. This year, we bought INFLUVAC vaccine from ABBOT Laboratory. A total of 1,758 employees and dependents were immunized.

2. HEALTH ADVISORY WITH POP UP ANNOUNCEMENT
Health and Wellness advisory and programs were patterned after the Department of Health’s annual calendar of activities. Advisories were also based it on health issues that were identified by the DOH as highlights of each month, or on current health crisis and epidemics that need immediate concern. We had six health advisories posted as HR Bulletins, reinforced by pop-up announcement.

3. EMPLOYEE’S MONTH
The celebration of Employees’ Month coincides with the celebration of PAFELA’s anniversary month. Part of the month-long festivities was the holding of a Health and Wellness Fair for employees. This year, the fair was staged at the JELP Business Solutions Building in Mandaluyong City.

4. WOMENS MONTH
For 2019, the Fund’s Women’s Month celebration was exciting. We invited DERMFACTOR, which pampered our women employees with free facials, massages, and nail care, among others.

5. ANNUAL PHYSICAL EXAMINATION (APE)
As Pag-IBIG Fund remains true to its objective of promoting health and wellness, an Annual Physical Examination (APE) for employees assigned at the Corporate Headquarters, NCR Home Lending Operations Sector, International Operations Group, and Technical Administrative Services - NCR South was conducted from 11 to 27 November 2019. A total number of 3,392 officers and employees out of the 3,721 were able to undergo Basic Executive Check-Up and Annual Physical Exam, achieving a 91.16% accomplishment rate.
